Paul Gutierrez
Paul Gutierrez joined Comcast's SportsNet after five years with the Sacramento Bee (2005-2010), where he has covered the Raiders and the NFL as a senior writer via columns and features and votes on the Associated Press Postseason Awards panel. As a Bay Area-based writer for the Bee, he covered the A's and Giants. He is the current chairman of the Baseball Writers Association of America's Bay Area Chapter, as well as boxing, mixed martial arts and college basketball and football. He also worked for the Los Angeles Times (1999-2005), the Las Vegas Review-Journal (1998-1999), and Sports Illustrated (1995-1998).
The bilingual Gutierrez received his B.A. in communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He currently resides in Petaluma, California with his wife, Comcast SportsNet's San Francisco Giants reporter Amy Gutierrez, and their children Zachary and Grace.
